Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo is a large hotel located in a quiet area of the city, near to shops and restaurants with the metro station a few minutes’ walk away. If it’s your first time in Tokyo, then this hotel makes a good base. Access by train or metro to the city centre is around 15 minutes, and the food is good in the restaurants.

Who for

The hotel is for business travellers and tourists with rooms a decent size for Japan and efficient lifts to whisk you up and down from the lobby.

A total of 383 rooms ranging from economy to superior and the best have superb night time views of the Tokyo Skytree tower. All have flat screen TV’s with satellite channels, free internet access and large luxurious pillows. You’ll be amused by the heated toilet seat and don’t forget to don your provided Kimono and slippers.

Facilities

There’s no gym or swimming pool, but the deep bath tubs are ample compensation. The staff all speak English, a bonus for Japanese hotels.

Food and drink

The Super Dining Verdure buffet has a 30m long counter where you choose from a mixture of Japanese, Western, Chinese cuisine. Chefs prepare the food in front of you and there’s even a Sumo Wrestler’s special dish.

On the top floor is the stylish Skytree View Restaurant which overlooks the city and offers fine a la carte Japanese cuisine with some Chinese specialities. Bar Ren here offers saké and cocktails.

What’s nearby

There are plenty of restaurants in the streets outside, the Asakusa shopping mall is next door, and the Tokyo Skytree is around a twenty minute walk away.

Getting there

It’s only a few minutes from Kinshicho Station which is connected to the metro and also the JR Sobu Line. Direct airport limousines take you to the airport and there’s also a regular shuttle bus.
