Eurostar not only connects UK to Europe, the newly introduced high-spec trains with their slick Italian design by Pninfarina, also connect travellers to the ether.

This means that it’s unlikely you will be bored on the hour-long journey between London and Paris. Between checking your emails and chatting on Facebook and the 300 hours of TV shows and movies on offer, there will be plenty to keep you occupied. All you have to do is connect your mobile phone or tablet and you are set to go. There’s also news, games, magazines, a special children’s zone and a live moving location map.

Now able to 900 passengers (20 per cent more capacity than the e300), the e320 the trains travels at a speed of 320 kph (200 mph).

Nicolas Petrovic, CEO, Eurostar said:

“The successful introduction of our new fleet marks an important milestone for the business as it transforms the travel experience for our customers. Our e320 trains bring the ultimate in style and comfort alongside the latest in on-board digital connectivity for both business and leisure travellers.”

Over the next 3 years Eurostar is introducing 17 new e320 trains into its fleet and carrying out a programme of refurbishment of its original trains that will be renamed e300s. The first is in operation and another is due into service later this year.

Passengers can turn up 30 minutes before departure or just ten minutes if travelling Business Premier.

The lead-in price of £29/€39 one way to Paris/Brussels/Lille and fares from £37 to hundreds of destinations across France, Holland and Belgium, makes Eurostar the cheapest way to travel between the UK and mainland Europe.
